What is the chamber about ? The original aims when the chamber was established were to

“…..promote, foster, and advance commercial , industrial and professional enterprise and without limitation other entrepreneurial activity, trade and business undertakings of all kind in the locality….”

The Chamber facilitates business networking and also works closely with other organisations. This includes Mole Valley District Council, the Town Centre Manager, the Town Forum, local community groups, and the local Press,  to improve Dorking as a proposition for people to come to work, shop, visit and do business.

  • Please be on guard for phone scam, the caller claims to be distributing drugs awareness booklets and DVDs for schools. The phone number used was 0161 390 0452.

Events

Premises Awards 2017

After an absence of some years the Dorking Chamber of Commerce brought back the Premises Awards Scheme. Awards are given out for appearance of commercial premises shop fronts, where the judges believe the presentation adds to or enhances the look of Dorking Town Centre.

This years awards where presented after the formalities of the recent Chamber AGM, held in the Pickwick Room of the White Horse Hotel.
